Zoë Zawisa is a junior at Carnegie Mellon pursuing a degree in Social and Decision Science, with minors in Business Administration and Policy & Management. Zoë has always been interested in the intersection between behavioral science and business and is passionate about international affairs.
Zoë has had the opportunity to play on the Varsity Basketball team where she plays a small forward and competes against some of the top Divison III teams in the country. Additionally, she is also a Resident Assistant for an upperclassmen housing community where she implements programs that establishes a strong community-oriented housing environment that promotes individual growth.
She is particularly interested in entrepreneurship that encourages and sparks social change in the United States and abroad. This passion was sparked during her travels last summer throughout Southeast Asia. She travelled to Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, China, and Japan and gained valuable cultural experience. Zoë hopes to bring an entrepreneurial culture to low income areas to help encourage economic growth.
